Brits can save thousands of pounds in just a few hours simply by visiting the UK’s largest personal finance event: Your Money Matters.
The event launches at London’s ExCeL from February 2nd - 3rd 2008 and promises to provide visitors with the advice and inspiration they need to save money and start building a more secure financial future.
Your Money Matters is free to attend and, with 120 exhibitors, 30 seminars and workshops and a whole host of top financial experts including Cesarina Holm-Kander, Martin Roberts, Jasmine Birtles and Donna Bradshaw on hand to offer guidance, taking time out to visit should be right at the top of everyone’s New Year’s resolutions come January.
“At the end of September 2007, the UK had amassed a total personal debt of £1.38 trillion. More than 17,000 homes were repossessed last year and it’s believed that, by 2008, repossessions could reach 20,000. 70 per cent of us don’t have a will and we spend more time texting than planning our finances,“ explained Your Money Matters event director Ceri Rogers.
“You could say we’re in a bit of a mess when it comes to personal finance and, if we are ever going to turn things around, shake off our debts and stop haemorrhaging money unnecessarily, it’s time we got help. Thankfully, that help will be readily and freely available in abundance at Your Money Matters next February.”
